Ch 14
Sefiwah flipped back to her feet and wiped away the blood off her face. She gasped and quickly wiped it on the floor. She then took a deep breath and relaxed again. “I’ve never bled without flagellating myself before. I appreciate this. It’s so much easier to kill the ones who fight back,” she said, moving back into her battle stance.
“Oh, I’m just glad I can help! Even though you’re my opponent, you seem so sweet. I would hate to disappoint you,” said Ada.
“You have a very bright soul. I don’t want to kill you. But you know too much. You have knowledge that makes me appear weak. I can’t allow that information to be leaked. I apologize. I only told you about my aversion to blood so I would have more incentive to kill you. I hope you become an angel in Heaven. Ada, are you ready?”
